Rainbows and Tear-drops

Gazing into the misty sky,

staring at a rainbow high.

Pretty colours she wanted to hold,

searching with a heart of gold.

Trying to catch a beautiful rainbow…

How to do it, she didn't know.

So full of colours and pretty they are,

and when she looked, they didn't seem far.

She ran, and danced, and chased all day,

but every rainbow slipped away.

Sadly, she realized she had to stop,

and there in her eyes, were rainbow tear-drops.
